The position is responsible for the monitoring and execution of cost-effective programs in the production of poultry products from Basic Poultry Processing, Further Processing (including RTE), Blast Freezing Operations, Warehousing Operations, Rendering Operations, and Ice Plant Operations designed to minimize cost, increase productivity, improve efficiencies, promote food safety, and adhere to the highest standard of quality set by the company. The incumbent involves in coordinating and controlling of production to ensure goods and services are produced efficiently, and that the correct volume and amount are produced at the right cost and level of quantity.

Main Tasks (Processing Operations):

  1. Reviews, verifies, and consolidates data from processing operations (including rendering and ice plant operations) within the scope such as Plant Efficiencies and Process Parameters.
  2. Conducts line inspection or spot checking of plant machine & equipment efficiencies and evaluates actual plant performance as against set standards and adherence to requirements.
  3. Ensures the correct inventory management of the plant through verification of monitoring reports and regular physical inventory activities.

Coordinates with other departments such as Operations Planning, Live Operations and Sales in optimizing the resources and production capacities of the plant to meet the sales demand and customer requirements.

Main Tasks (Food Safety & Compliance to Regulatory Standards):

  1. Monitors and coordinates all information required on processing operations as to regulatory and statutory requirements and other necessary information needed in the processing operation.
  2. Assists QA in evaluation of plant performance ensuring Product Conformance, Process Standards, Equipment Standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and in conducting products evaluation of non-conforming products and recommend disposition.
  3. Reviews and submits Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) report in every nonconformance to food safety and customer standards and verifies effectiveness of implementation through actual inspection.

Main Tasks (Third Party/OMM & External Management Responsibilities):

  1. Ensures the compliance of the plant with its contractual obligations as agreed and written in the Contract Agreement.
  2. Monitoring of the timely posting and status of SAP-related transactions and billings for contracted operations in coordination with Finance.

Reviews and analyzes actual results of operations versus standards and provides intervention to correct the deviations and minimize penalties or charges for the non-conformances.

Main Tasks (Operations Support):

  1. Ensures the availability of plant equipment and prepares raw materials to be used for the commercialization of the new products including the preparation, execution, and delivery of the products as well raw materials and material code extensions.
  2. Coordinates all open issues concerning SAP-related transactions of the plant with the Finance group and Systems Analyst.

Analyzes SAP transactions through dashboard monitoring and Business Warehouse (BW).

Main Tasks (Financial & Budget Management):

  1. Verifies correctness of business partner’s billings and prepares Payment Request Memorandum (PRM) and/or generates Service Entry Sheets (SES) reports through Arriba On-Demand (AOD) system up to Receiving Report (RR) generation.

Prepares accruals and budget for operational expenses.

Main Tasks (Applied Engineering):

  1. Participates in the review of CAPA and monitors the resolution and completion of Corporate Affairs Group (CAG) CITM audit findings.
  2. Provides technical guidance and support to the business partners pertaining to plant maintenance and engineering function.

Coordinates with plant's engineering team regarding issues and concerns of the plant machinery, equipment, utilities, and auxiliary facilities such as preventive maintenance, reduction of downtime, availability of machines or equipment.

Qualifications: Graduate of any engineering Course
