  • Handles complaints and crisis management involving our products, operations, and impact on the community
  • Builds partnership and cooperation with LGU, NGO, and other private entities within the host and adjacent community.
  • Perform community engagements and maintain the company's rapport with the host community.
  • Manages and processes community requests and concerns.
  • Monitor and support the community's (LGU) activities, policies, advocacies, and engagements
  • Supports business identity thru donations and endorsements.
  • Acts as the representative of the plant for community engagements, on behalf of the Plant Manager.
  • Establish Linkages with government units such as PNP, AFP, MDRRU, DSWD, DOH, local Media, and other relevant units for public affairs.
  • Manages political interest of the community by identifying the socio-economic, population, culture and social norms, or socio-political identity and uses them for the benefit and advantage of the company; particularly in the sustainability of its operation.
  • Acts as Plant security coordinator. Supervise the Third-Party Security Service Provider in the proper implementation of plant security and safety protocols.
  • Investigates incidents relating to safety and security; Liaises and coordinates with government law enforcement units’ investigations in which the plant is directly or indirectly involved.
  • Establish an intelligence network with Law enforcement units and LGU.
  • Conducts safety inspection, recommendations, and measures; Investigates security and safety anomalies and product discrepancies whenever an issue arises.
  • Supports and assists the ECSE in the conduct of OSH inspection, Disaster Response, and Environmental Compliances and training, licensing, and safety implementation.
  • Enforce Plant’s strict adherence to the mandate Corporate and Division Security Office
  • Ensures that the plant is a labor-friendly and safe environment, free from extremists’ influence, infiltration, and exploitation. Monitors Labor Union activities, if any.
  • Enforces and implements the CRR, PRR, and/or Corporate Policies. Drafts recommendations to the Plant Manager on the possible repercussions and corrective measures for violating personnel. Perform other tasks relating to these policies.
  • Assists the ECSE in designing and enforcing Biosecurity and disease control such as for Covid-19, ASF, Bird Flu, FMD, and other human or animal disease outbreak.
  • To disseminate, implement, and ensure observance and conformity of administrative instructions such as memoranda, policies, procedures, and protocols set forth by the BU, SMFI, and SMC in general.
  • Reviews and updates all plant memoranda, policies, procedures, and protocols annually for validity and relevance.
  • Keeps all administrative records that are relevant to the position such as security, safety, and complaint reports, memoranda, policies, and protocols that are in conformance with the standards set forth by the management and regulating bodies.
  • Facilitates community-endorsed qualified applicants following HR policies on recruitment and job placement procedures.
  • Act as labor and legal relations agent of the plant, especially in managing and assessing labor or legal-related concerns, implementations, instructions, and policies from higher management to plant level and vice versa.
  • Plays an active role in Safety and Environment Audit.
