  1. Primary Functions

 

    • Team Development
    • Plans the career development and performance improvement of the direct reports and identifies the appropriate trainings/improvement based on assessment
    • Develops the team towards Supply Chain excellence through execution of “best in class” practices
    • Drives the team in achieving their KPIs and targets through direction setting, regular performance review and coaching
    • Oversees the work schedule and assignment of the direct reports and re-evaluates changes as necessary

 

 

    • Order Management
    • Leads the team for its day to day operations by ensuring all sales orders are processed and fulfilled by working with all stakeholders through
      • Reporting and updating status of sales orders and its fulfillment to sales/customers and other stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain)
      • Providing support and guidance to its direct reports and third parties to ensure actions are taken to address concerns on timely and efficient manner
      • Works with Supply Chain team of different businesses to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full by ensuring stock and truck availability
    • Sets and align order management process and standards with Sales/Customers/Supply Chain team to achieve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
      • Alignment of MOQ, lead time, delivery schedule 
      • Alignment of delivery requirements (completion of documents, samples submission, PPEs, etc)
    • Measures and monitors Order Fulfillment performance (CFR – Case Fill Rate, OTIF – On Time and In Full, SDP – Supplier Delivery performance, etc) and drives resolutions in achieving the performance targets through regular reviews and alignment

 

 

 

    • Inventory Management
    • Aligns and sets standard parameters/processes related to Inventory Management including:
      • Review and alignment of Make to Order and Make to Stock Products
        • Inventory Days level of MTS (Make to Stock) products
        • Inventory Lead time of MTO (Make to Order) products
    • Monitors supply availability on regular basis across all regions and highlights excess/shortfalls
      • Works with the direct reports and planning team for the adjustments of the replenishment and production plan to achieve target days level
      • Provides and guides the team on solutions to address supply issues (like identifying alternative products that can be offered to sales/customers, agreed new delivery dates and volumes)
      • Reviews and aligns allocation of constrained supply with sales and marketing
    • Monitors freshness of products and highlights potential obsolescence risk/s
      • Works with the sales and marketing for the move-out of products
      • Works with sales/planning team on improvements to avoid/mitigate obsolescence risks

    • Reviews capacity and materials availability with manufacturing plants during Supply Review and works on resolutions with Plant/Sales/Marketing to address capacity and material issues

 

 

    • Logistics Management

 

    • Alignment of processes and standards including KPIs on warehousing and deliveries with internal and external parties
      • Regularly updates delivery requirements to warehouses to ensure compliance of customers requirements (COAs, attached purchased order, PPEs, etc)
      • Aligns KPIs and targets to ensure both business and customer objectives are achieved
    • Performs regular performance reviews with Logistics providers to ensure goals and objectives are achieved (OTIF, Load Factor, etc)
    • Oversees day to day delivery operations
    • Participation in planning/development/improvement of logistics network and systems(e.g. new Warehouses, WMS, new logistics policies and contracts, etc) in relation to GFS operations and customers
    • Provides assessment and study of least cost and effective way of delivering goods to clients (co-loading, train schedule, bulk delivery, etc)
    • Initiates and executes programs to improve Logistics KPIs (like updated train schedule/minimum load, shortest route, etc) by working with customers/sales/service partners
    • Plans the logistics resources needed for direct GFS operations (trucks, warehouses, container vans) needed based on demand/supply plan for management approval

 

 

    • Administrative Jobs

 

    • Reviews billings related to Operations for payment
    • Collects and gathers pertinent documents required for contracts, audits, etc
    • Provides regular reports to monitor KPIs
    • Prepares memos and policies related to Operations for management approval and for cascade to Sales/Customers/Other Parties
