Title:  Senior Network Security Specialist

Educational Background: Computer Science, ECE, Computer Engineering or any IT related course
Certifications Required: Preferably CEH, CCNA or other certificate related to Network and Security 
Relevant Skills: Should have an extensive knowledge of Information Technology systems and a deep understanding of the security risks associated with these technologies. Understanding of information security framework and best practices (e.g., ISO27001, Republic Act 10173 – Data Privacy Act of 2012). Ability to present security topics to technical and non-technical audience and presenting the business value of information security. A good understanding of secure coding, vulnerability assessment, network routing, switching and access management concepts. 
Should be able to collaborate with clients, team members and technology partners to provide security solutions and to address client issues and requirement. Should be able to analyze network security performance and threats based from logs, events, provide recommendation and lead the remediation activities.
Technology Exposure: Should have experience with VAPT tools, any of the following network security devices; SIEM, Firewall, IPS, Anti-Spam, E-mail Gateway, Server load balancer, Anti-Virus, LDAP/Two-Factor Authentication services, switching and routing.
Related Work Experience: The candidate should have relevant experience in the following;
•    Maintenance and management of network security systems. 
•    Providing solution to complex network security problems and issues.  
•    Design and review of network security infrastructure and other related components.
•    Collaborate with other IT teams, partners and clients to develop and manage IT security solutions
•    Leading a technical team to perform at their optimum capacity and consistently meet service level agreements.
•    Provide oversight and guidance during security incidents and investigations. 
•    Assist in the enhancement of delivery and management of IT security systems and services. 
•    Performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing tasks.
