Description: 

 

  1. Conducts product demonstration to promote the use of SMMI Flour and other bakery ingredients to bakeries and other flour end-users (bakeries, lumpia makers, noodle/misua factories, street food makers (e.g., fish ball, kikiam, etc.) in coordination with Unit Sales Manger.
  2. Prepares and submits report on product demonstration report and other baking activities and accomplishments.
  3. Conducts seminars and training on the proper baking procedures, bakery management operations including recipe development using SMMI Flour and other bakery ingredients in coordination with the Sales Team of the area.
  4. Initiates requisitions of baking ingredients needed for baking demonstrations, bake tests and baking seminars.
  5. Attends to and handles technical problems and complaints including trouble shooting activities of SMMI Flour users.
  6. Conducts quarterly comparative baking tests of competitors/competitive brands in coordination with R&D and QA.
  7. Develops new recipes or formulations; experiments and conducts research to develop new and better baking methods.
  8. Ensures that all baking equipment and other materials are accounted and well-maintained; ensures cleanliness and orderliness of the baking area.
  9. Conducts end-user survey (new end users, flour being used, volume, data on the end-users, etc.) and submits report to SSTD Assistant for validation.  The same data will form part of the industry profile to be used as reference of the Sales Team.
  10.  Submits weekly industry monitoring report (IMR) to ASM (competitors’ activities, pricing and promos, etc.)
  11.  Conducts internal training (e.g., cake decorating, noodle-making, lumpia wrapper-making, etc.) on flour applications for fellow FAS and other technical personnel; include at least 2 trainings conducted for the year in their KPIs.
  12.  Closes deal with the end-user after conducting product demo; negotiates price with the dealer and follows through orders from new customers and ensures that the same is served on time; coordinates same with Unit Sales Manager.

     13.)  Conducts regular visits on new customers, including key accounts in order to ensure that there are no problems encountered on the products being used; offers other product lines/ingredients to new customers; introduces new recipes in order to increase sales; maintains relationship with the new customer for product loyalty.

      14.)  Performs other tasks which may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
