DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

KPA-1: 

Business and Customer Development

Weight:

Responsibility:

Grow topline in marketplaces through effective marketing and promotional activities   

Main Tasks:

  • Grow San Miguel Foods topline in marketplaces by planning and implementing effective platform-specific marketing and promotional activities
  • Grow our business in third party platforms by ensuring high visibility and presence of San Miguel Foods brands in major platform sales activities and promotions
  • Increase sales of our brands in third party platforms by effectively utilizing various advertising and promotional tools available in the various platforms (vouchers, promos, search advertising, etc)
  • Develop new partnerships with new marketplaces

KPA-2: 

Distributor Management

Weight:

Responsibility:

Grow our business with e-distributors through effective distributor management.

Main Tasks:

  • Grow our business with current e-distributors by developing and implementing effective Joint Business Plans (JBP)
  • Increase geographic reach of our marketplace e-commerce platforms by partnering with new e-distributors and expanding coverage of existing e-distributors
  • Grow our business with distributors through effective portfolio management – ensuring 100% availability in our e-commerce platforms of all products and SKUs of San Miguel Foods
  • Accounts Receivable Management – ensure accurate billings/claims by e-distributors
  • Forecasting and Demand Planning – create accurate forecasts together with e-distributors, and ensure timely delivery and adequate allocation of stocks/inventory

KPA-3: 

Customer Experience Management

Responsibility:

Create a superior shopping experience for consumers in our e-commerce platforms

Main Tasks:

  • Logistics – work with logistics partners and e-distributors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to end consumers
  • Customer Service – work with e-distributors, as well as our internal customer service teams, to provide superior customer service support to our e-commerce consumers
  • Store Management – effective management of our e-commerce distributors (product updating, availability, new product introductions, price adjustments, etc)
  • Product Availability and Assortment – ensure product availability and increase product assortment in our e-commerce stores

 

KPA-4: 

Capability Building and Expertise

Weight:

10%

Responsibility:

Grow the team’s expertise in marketplaces

Main Tasks:

  • Grow and develop the SMF’s overall capability, expertise and knowledge in Marketplaces through research and training
  • Work with Marketplaces directly and ensure that the team is knowledgeable of the platform’s best practices and latest innovations/trends
  • Cascade the latest trends and platform innovations to the E-Commerce team, as well as to the rest of the SMF marketing organization

  1. Overall objectives/targets – e-commerce revenue targets, digital campaign objectives
  2. Assets – management of the e-commerce marketing budgets of brands

 

WORKING CONDITION:     (e.g., environment/hardships/difficulty:  exposure to hazardous materials, loud noise, or extreme heat/cold; physical demands; weekend work, night shift, or on-call requirement as regular part of the job, travel requirements; emergency staff designations; etc.)

  1. 70% Field-based work setup. Field work will include:
    • Visits to various e-distributors nationwide
    • Field visits to warehouses of distributors to monitor operations
  2. Will require nationwide travel, since scope of responsibility is national/total Philippines
