Duties and Responsibilities

 

Demand Planning 

  • Lead the assembly and analysis of all data pertinent to creating the monthly sales forecast (historical sales, seasonality, promotions, and distributor/key account sales data and inventory levels)
  • Develop, document, update and verify the factors and assumptions supporting the demand plan.  Understand demand segmentation driven by sales volume and demand variability to determine inventory and forecasting strategies as well as action plans to reduce forecast variation
  • Collates monthly export rolling forecast from Sales and Marketing and translates to Rolling Forecast (RF) for SAP IBP 
  • Prepares monthly Executive Information System (EIS) and sales dashboard
  • Leads a Gap Analysis and Risk Management to promote informed decision-making amongst key stakeholders

Supply Planning 

  • Conducts monthly supply review meeting with BU Planners on production schedule of export orders
  • Provides export sales with weekly update on the constrained forecast and supportability along with possible substitutes in the event of a supply constraint
  • Monitors the Finished Goods and RM/PM inventory of export products
  • Assess the ageing of products based on acceptable limit and help drive movement to mitigate the Business cost exposure
  • Creates Purchase Requisitions that will be the basis of Purchase Orders for offshore and export mandatories requirements
  • Participate in the company activities requiring Planning support ie system clean up, inventory adherence, timeliness compliance, audit compliance, etc.

Others

  • Assists the Exports Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in any strategic or ad-hoc task as needed

 

Job Specification

A. Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management, Business Management or Supply Chain Management

B.    Work Experience/Skills: 

  • Preferably with 1-5 years’ experience in supply planning, project management and management reporting
  • Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • With above average verbal and written communication skills in English 
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Powerpoint
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

C.    Working Conditions: 

  • Office-based, open to flexible working hours (including weekends) due to nature of job; work may require visits to the plants and warehouses
