PRIMARY FUNCTION: (A statement describing the nature of the work carried out)

 

Responsible for the following:

  1. Sales & Marketing program compliance – monitor and ensure that sales/marketing program objectives are correctly implemented by business partners and deviations/fraudulent transactions are communicated to Trade and concerned groups for monitoring and corrective action.

 

  1. Data management - systematically and efficiently collect, organize, maintain, store, and retrieve information from various internal sources of Petron.

 

  1. Sales & Marketing information – ensure data quality, availability of relevant reports and initiate system enhancement and development to facilitate data-driven business insights and decisions by Management and Divisions.

 

  1. Contact Center management - responsible for planning, managing, administering and monitoring the services and output of outsourced service providers of Petron contact centers.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Main outputs or tasks which are carried out)

 

Sales & Marketing program compliance

 

  1. Monitor and assess price variance, product sell-in-sell-out, possible fraudulent sales transactions, possible incorrect Loyalty points awarding/redemption and other identified sales/marketing programs to ensure compliance to Management directions and objectives.
  2. Report the output of the assessment to Trades/concerned groups and monitor progress of their feedback to ensure corrective actions are established and resolutions are implemented.
  3. Ensure through the development of systems and procedures that prices, product sourcing, and other sales/marketing-related programs and planned objectives involving rebates, points and the like are correctly implemented by the company’s business partners
  4. Review and propose policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes to ensure that adequate controls on various systems and their impact on the financial aspect of sales/marketing are implemented.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Main outputs or tasks which are carried out)

 

Data Management

 

  1. Collect, organize, store, maintain and retrieve information from various internal sources of Petron to create a collective reference database for Management/Divisions and external reports, as needed.
  2. Ensure data quality (i.e., accurate, consistent, complete, timely, valid and unique).
  3. Organize and maintain databases, data models/structures, algorithms/business rules to achieve the correct output and parameters set in coordination with Trades/Divisions. 
  4. Maintain applications/programs such as, but not limited to data analytics tools, used for data storage, retrieval, access by Trades/Divisions and report generation. 
  5. Identify and propose improvements on existing IT systems/applications, data structures, procedures and practices to strengthen data analysis and compliance controls in view of evolving requirements (i.e., programs, objectives, sales/marketing requirements).

 

 

Sales/Marketing Information

 

  1. Initiate and assist in the development of reports and dashboards that are relevant to Management and Divisions to facilitate data-driven insights and decisions.
  2. Update and maintain reports, dashboards, and related applications for accuracy of information and consistency of output (i.e., automated daily reports on volume attainment, statistical reports, dashboards, etc.).
  3. Monitor and ensure timeliness of automated/manual reports and coordinate any issue with concerned Trades/MISD. 
  4. Initiate enhancements or development of reports and systems to improve data analysis 

 

 

Contact Center Management

 

  1. Ensures consistent high quality service by the third-party service providers to all internal (Petron groups) and external customers and  business partners to enhance efficiencies and promote customer retention and loyalty. This will require the jobholder to coordinate regularly with the internal customers and the outsourced services providers to ensure that required services and outputs are delivered in a timely, efficient and satisfactory manner consistent with agreed service level agreements (SLA). 
  2. Ensures that an appropriate workplace, inclusive of any identified infrastructure, systems, and tools, is provided and maintained for the use of the outsourced services provider/s in the delivery of its services. 
  3. Responsible in streamlining/rationalizing manual functions by converting these to updated technological versions or identifying system improvements that will translate to service and cost efficiencies. This will require coordination with MISD and internal Petron groups and external customers/business partners.
  4. Serves as liason for internal Petron groups, outsourced services providers and external customers/business partners in relation to requirements needed from contact centers.

  1. Keep abreast of developments in various advancements, whether conceptual or technical in nature in the following fields of study; and make the corresponding recommendation on how these developments can best be maximized by the Divisions in terms of monitoring of sales and marketing programs:
    1. Data analytics
    2. Business analytics
    3. Sales-related IT
    4. Project management
  1. Handle ad hoc/special projects as assigned by SALES SUPPORT Coordinator.
  2. Conduct fieldwork

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: (Indicate Nature of Supervision over this position in terms of types of guidance and control, instructions given, etc.)

 

Assignments or work requirements are mostly derived from the Sales Programs Compliance and Information Coordinator.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS: (List minimum qualifications normally required to perform the job)

 

  1. FORMAL EDUCATION:

Bachelor degree holder in finance, economics, engineering, business/marketing management, business analytics, information systems, statistics; preferably with a masteral degree/units in any of these fields.

 

  1. EXPERIENCE: (Specify no. of years and kind of experience)

At least 1 year work experience in sales., marketing, data analytics, statistics or market research. Previous work assignment within the Trades or Planning group in other Divisions is a definite advantage

 

  1. SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Strong analytical ability, knowledge of analytical tools, creative thinking, good oral, written communication and presentation skills, good interpersonal skills.
