Title: Market Planning Analyst - Retail
Mandaluyong City (ABK0), Philippines
Leads the annual Business Planning exercise in the development of short-term to long term plans of the Trades that will be basis for the Division and corporate commitment for the business plan period:
- Presenting the various assumptions and relevant scenarios and development that will guide the Trades in developing their Operating Plan targets on volume and margins
- Using Anaplan to process and analyze Trade’s proposed volume and margin targets to ensure alignment to Company’s objectives
- Processing and analyzing Trade’s other business plan targets (days receivable, non-fuel income, manpower requirement, etc.)
- Finalizing Trade’s submitted data into the required exhibit forms by BPDD
- Packaging the Trade’s Business Plan submissions into a cohesive presentation material that will convey the Trade’s strategies, plans, and programs and resource requirements for the Operating Plan year for the approval of the Company’s Management Committee
- Presenting the said Business Plan material to the Division VP
- Assisting the Trades in allocating the Management-approved volume and margin targets into grassroots level with the use of Anaplan
Prepare regular reports to monitor the volume and margin performance of the Trades versus approved Operating plan targets, versus latest outlook, and versus previous year’s performance to assess attainment of budget commitments and the need to revise business strategies as necessary.
- Prepares and presents weekly VPs meeting materials
- Prepares opex budget utilization reports
- Prepares performance report for Sales Incentive Program
- Prepares other performance assessment reports as required
Evaluates economic feasibility of Trade’s proposed capex projects and coordinates with BPDD for the required funding. Conducts post-facto evaluation of completed projects to determine effectiveness of the program
Attends the regular Supply Chain Management meeting to:
- Coordinate various operational issues of the Trades to concerned groups
- Be updated of relevant developments within the Company’s Supply Chain that will impact Trade’s volume planning and margin targets and coordinate the same with the concerned groups for appropriate actions
Coordinates with the Trades for their latest Rolling Six Month Sales (RSMS) projections, processes and analyses the submitted data, and forwards to concerned departments as input for their operational processes
Keeps abreast of economic developments, emerging market trends, new business opportunities and other relevant information in the industry to recommend business strategies to counter threats or maximize sales.
Maintains historical databases on volume and margin performance and updates these databases on a regular basis.
May be tasked to handle special projects/studies as assigned by Planning Coordinator
