Title:  Environmental Compliance and Safety Engineer

The Environmental Compliance and Safety Engineer is responsible for ensuring that poultry processing operations adhere to environmental regulations and occupational health and safety standards. This role focuses on maintaining regulatory compliance, minimizing environmental impact, and promoting a safe working environment across processing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations, including wastewater discharge, air emissions, and solid waste management.
• Monitor and manage environmental control systems such as wastewater treatment and pollution prevention measures.
• Implement and maintain workplace safety programs in line with OSHA/DOLE and food industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, awareness programs, and proper use of PPE.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to integrate safety and environmental controls into daily operations.
• Prepare compliance reports and maintain documentation for regulatory inspections.
