Title:  Reliability Engieer

1. Assists the Chief Engineer and Operations Managers in implementing a long-term reliability program by establishing and maintaining equipment records and histories, condition and material changes. Specifically, he is tasked to do the area reliability report that established the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for critical refinery equipment, bad actors list, PM results and other KPI measures.
2. Conducts in-depth technical studies and research on corrosion and erosion patterns, equipment failure analysis.
3. Conducts initial equipment inspection in his area of responsibility and calls for specialist assistance when scope is beyond his capacity.
4. Inspects and issues reports for stationery and rotating equipment during shutdowns and turnarounds.
5. Studies corrosive and erosive conditions and recommends repairs and replacement of equipment as necessary. Proposes changes based on local and international codes and standards, and other basic practices, design, and construction material standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

B. S. in Mechanical (license required), Materials, or Metallurgical Engineering 

B.     EXPERIENCE:  

Preferably five (5) years professional engineering experience
