Title:  Quality Control Technician

A Quality Control Technician’s primary function is to perform tests. His/her primary responsibility is in ensuring the laboratory’s quality control testing program effectiveness by delivering timely and accurate test results. He/She is accountable for the integrity and traceability of the samples tested and responsible for the safe and appropriate handling and conduct of testing requirements. His/her testing responsibility covers safety in the laboratory, basic care of equipment and proficient operation of laboratory instruments and associated apparatus, reagents and test during the conduct of analysis or testing. It is also his/her responsibility to provide the appropriate report of results of tests conducted.

FORMAL EDUCATION: Graduate of BS Chemistry or BS Chemical Engineering; Registered Chemist or Registered Chemical Technician
