Title:  Process Control Specialist Trainee

PRIMARY FUNCTION: 

A Process Control Specialist (PCS) is an individual contributor who possesses, exercises, and applies a specialized skill, talent, profession, or expertise in refining process control that requires the application of engineering methodologies in the production of petroleum, fuel, and energy products from feedstock.  He/She is responsible for the achievement of set targets or goals of the unit/department to which he/she belongs, through collaboration with concerned Supervisors in analyzing operations data and planning to execution of interventions to optimize resources, among others.

Moreover, as part of the management complement, the Process Control Specialist (PCS)  will be co-responsible for the evaluation of Technician’s contributions to the team by way of performance evaluation and shall also be one of the evaluators of Operations Technicians for merit (e.g., pay increases, compensation), recognition and rewards (e.g., commendations and promotions).

QUALIFICATIONS:   

A.      FORMAL EDUCATION:

Preferably a licensed Engineer

B.       EXPERIENCE:  

With minimum 5 years related experience
