Title:  Supplies Tender

Duties and Responsibilties:

1. Weighs spice ingredients or raw materials according to desired measurement
2. Calculates/counts how much raw materials to mix based on formulation.
3. Withdraws ingredients and raw materials.
4. Arranges spice mix / finished goods in pallets using hand pallet truck.
5. Manually mixes spice ingredients or operates blender machine based on current formulation and in accordance with the standard operating procedures.  Ensures that no contaminant is mixed or introduced during preparation of spice mixes.
6. Informs his supervisor of the raw material requirements to facilitate withdrawal of items from warehouse.
7. Labels spice mixes with correct spice codes.
8. Ensures that spice mixes have corresponding Allergen Tags & Weight Monitoring Check sheet for Restricted Ingredients.
9. Observes FIFO / FEFO system when using spices and ingredients.
10. Ensures that left- over raw materials are properly covered/sealed before returning them to storage area.
11. Keeps in file/files spice cards in possession and maintains confidentiality.
12. Prepares traceability check sheets of spice mixes and RFS blends. .
13. Checks if weighing scales are calibrated and in good condition before start of work.
14. Checks sealers and blenders before start of work.
