Title:  Quality Assurance Inspector

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of 2-year course or College level
• Preferably with experience in raw materials and/or finished goods inspection in a manufacturing firm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts sampling and evaluates raw materials, work in-process and finished goods according to the standard procedures and based on company's specifications
  • Visually inspects raw materials, work in-process and finished goods to ensure conformance to standards
  • Takes samples of raw materials, work in-process and finished goods following established sampling plans and instructions.
  • Prepares meat materials, work in-process and finished goods for sensory evaluation.
  • Conducts visual inspection on control samples and reports to QA Specialist any non-conformance observed for proper disposition
  • Assists the QA Specialist in the conduct of physical, sensory and line tests raw materials, work in-process and finished goods
  • Records pertinent data on samples and result of evaluation in a logbook or verification form. 
  • Prepares tags for any affected raw materials, work in-process and finished goods.
  • Encodes data on result of verification and finished product weight.
  • Files records, updates retention samples and tracking
• Ensures compliance of assigned area and storages to established quality management programs
