Title:  Production Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Description: 
1. Assists production operators in the machine set-up to prevent quality problems and machine breakdowns
during production run.              
2. Conducts monitoring inspection on mechanical components of production machines for any symptoms or signs of
abnormality during production operation .          
3. Performs propmt, effective and systematic eqpt. troubleshooting and repair during equipment breakdown 
4. Fills up the machine work order with the required information after accomplishing machine troubleshooting
 and repair.                 
5. Performs regular preventive maintenance of all mechanical components, assembly and sub-assembly accdg. to the
maintenance schedule or work order.            
6. Coordinates with the production section supervisors or other authorized personnel on the oprtg status of the 
production machines and provides recommendations.        
7. Coordinates with Facilities associates or Facilities 3rd party technicians on the production machine utilities
 requirement.                 
8. Conducts and leads in the annual overhauling works of  primary machines accdg to PM schedule.
9. Leads in the production personnel equipment orientation to ensure proper and safe operation.
10. Assists in new equipment installation, debugging and test run prior to production run.  
11. Performs minor fabrication works for production operations support.     
12. Inspects fabricated or purchased mechanical/machine parts for compliance to specifications.
13. Fills up the work order and Withdraws spare parts from stores.       
14. Performs regular physical inventory of spare parts in the spare parts room.    
15. Picks up/and delivers machine parts outside plant premises during emergency cases.  
16. Participates in production operations and quality task force.      

17. Performs calibration work in all process instruments and devices accdg. to calibration schedule.

 

A. Education                
  1. Mechanical Engineering Graduate with PRC license .
  2. With at least 3 yrs. professional experience in food mfg process machines as a production mechanical technician.
B.  Working Experience              
  1. Basic knowledge in GMP, hygiene and sanitation in food manufacturing set-up.
  2. Working knowledge in different production machines/equipments in food manufacturing.
  3. Above average analytical skills specially in production process troubleshooting.
  4. Average verbal and written communication skills.      
  5. Good interpersonel relationship skills.        
  6. Superior mechanical aptitude skills.          
C. Work Conditions               
  1. Shall be capable of working inside an airconditioned environment (20-25C) for 8 hrs. 
  2. Can work during weekends and long hrs. with no supervision.    
  3. Can work on Sundays or Holidays if so required.
