Job Description:
- Provide manual and physical assistance to Production Engineer assigned at the production machines, such as but not limited to:
- Setting-up and tearing down of pipes, and bypass, if necessary
- Checking implements before, during and after production
- Removing boxes and plastic package .
- Loading ingredients/raw materials into the machine
- Unloading processed raw materials in the buggy cart
- Receiving of casings issued by Logistics
- Distributing the casings in the respective areas
- Collecting casings during teardown and change-over
- Conducting inventory of casings during teardown ad change-over
- Repairing of damaged and burst casing
- Listing all weight records of product run on each oven
- Checking unloading of products
- Checking and recording product variants on each oven
- Ensures availability of materials to be used are in the area
- Transferring sticks from packaging to stuffing area. Ensures availability of hotdog sticks for usage at stuffing area.
- Checking implements before, during and after production
- Checking of variable and sizes needed for every variant.
- Preparing the hand dip, residual waste bin and squeeze out pan.
- Counter checking of casing issued by casing supplies.
- Tying of casing
- Checking of squeezed out emulsion prior to transfer to required area
- Transferring of squeeze out emulsion to requiredt area
- Performing the slurpee procedure at the end of every shift.
- Perform quality inspection to ensure that the output is within specifications and according to established procedures
- Comply with and performs procedures and instructions prescribed by the company’s/plants Quality and Environment Management standards and government regulations. Ensures implementation of proper waste segregation and disposal procedures, conservation of resources and pollution prevention programs.
- Observe Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, HACCP and Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures and workplace safety regulations and emergency preparedness programs (e.g. chemical spill response, ammonia leak response, fire safety).
