Graduate of BS in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or an equivalent experience in any food manufacturing business.
3 – 5 years experience in PD work on dairy products
Proficient in dairy, fats and oils technology
Proficient in product applications and specifications of products
Knowledgeable in product costing
Knowledgeable in quality systems
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledgeable in formulating complex dairy, fats & oils
Conducts cost reduction work on existing products based on set directions
Improves quality/cost of existing products based on set directions Studies and recommends use of new or alternative raw materials
Establishes specifications for raw materials, products, and processes
Assists in the development of processes
Conducts technology transfer of new/improved products/processes to Manufacturing and QA teams
Oversees initial commercialization of new/improved products
Assists in the commissioning of new manufacturing equipment
Prepares direct material costs for Finance
Can conducts trainings, product demonstrations and presentations for internal and external customers
Can provides technical assistance to Manufacturing and QA teams
Actively participates in quality circles
Conducts benchmarking and competitive analysis
