Title:  Process Engineer

• Responsible for identifying and assessing innovations in processes
• Recommends to Management appropriate process conditions for new and improved products
• Provides technical advice (by conduct of basic research, trouble shooting, operations audit, evaluation of new technologies) in dairy, fats and oils and general food technology
• Develops and improves the manufacturing processes for increase efficiency

Process Innovations

1. Identifies innovations and new techniques applicable to the Business
2. Establishes strategic and opportunistic  benefits derived from innovations and new technologies
3. Evaluates and provides Management the appropriate recommendation on innovations and new technologies in dairy, confectionary, fats and oils and general food technology

Process Development/Improvement

1. Scales up a process from laboratory  to production scale
2. Works with the product development team  to formulate a manufacturing process for the new product
3. Works with equipment design   and manufacturing team to develop a cost-effective and working production process of the new product
4. Sets detailed specifications and implement production plans
5. Continuous conduct of test on systems for efficiency and accuracy until  a quality and cost-effective production process is implemented successfully
6. Oversees process design projects and ensures projects are completed on time
7.  Ensures  that financial budget is followed throughout the  manufacturing process
8. Improves the current  manufacturing or production processes to  boost productivity, quality and profitability for the Company
9. Evaluates, develops, improves and documents the manufacturing process
10. Implements and develops process control procedures and techniques into the manufacturing environment
11. Research and purchases new manufacturing technology, work in collaboration with the engineering department  for  better production equipment functionality
12. Develops and design manufacturing processes for the enhancement, new products an product changes and relaxed tooling and fixtures which are consistent with the low product cost and zero defect level
13. Develops, implements and coordinates technical training for employees by working closely with the manufacturing Department
14. Coordinates work with , assigned maintenance engineers, toll coordinators and outside vendors
15. Implements the transition of new technology to make sure production continues successfully

Technical Support

1. Reviews literatures/publications  for basic research
2. Identifies and provides recommendations to correct product quality or operational issues
3. Evaluates impact  of new technologies/developments in equipment, materials and designs
4. Provides comparative performance data for use in planning and decision-making
5. Responds to customers requests; assist in resolving customer queries and problems

Documentation and Reportorial Requirement

1. Prepares and submits to superiors /management monthly status report of on-going projects
