Title:  IETS Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering
• With at least five years experience in continuous improvement project management
• Must have supervisory background
• Must be able to communicate in all levels of the organization

To provide supervision to the IETS department of Plant 3 in the functions of Industrial Engineering and Technical Services and other special/ad hoc programs to further the company’s objectives of promoting and maintaining a culture of continuous & continual improvement (CI), innovation and knowledge sharing and achieving process excellence in the Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Planning & Logistics and Technical & Support Services) organization.

MAIN TASKS:

Leads subordinates on the development, review and monitoring of implementation of approved work standards (eg total plant output, kilograms per man hour output per production line, hauling output from production; put away and picking; dispatch rate;  productivity measurement and analysis (eg plant productivity earned man hours/applied man hours) by through the conduct of IE work standards procedures.

Performs regular review of the team’s activities, updates, engagements and accomplishments on IE functions.

Leads the conduct of studies on capacity utilization of production and logistics facilities. Providing regular reports to superior on results of studies.  Makes recommendations on underutilized facilities or further improvement of current or established utilization.

Leads the conduct of  or conducts cost reduction studies (e.g. labor, utilities, etc.) in areas where needed

Leads the conduct of or conducts workload analysis of functions and positions to assess level of job load of an individual, group, function or department.

Ensures that subordinates comply with in-process specifications and Quality and Food Safety systems and protocols in the performance of IE activities.
Reviews and evaluates projects (capitalizable and OPEX) and endorses to Management for approval.  Ensures that the projects requirements/documents are complete and compliant with the various study requirements.

Ensures tracking of AACE approval process.  Provides regular updates to proponent and other stakeholders on the status of approval.

Ensures the monitoring of status of implementation of projects. Coordinates with Finance and proponent if the proejct is on-going, on-hold or is already completed.

Submits Project Closure Report on the completion of project, detailing pending and commissioning activities.
Coordinates/collaborates with SPMG and provides them needed IE support and requirements (i.e. process layout; process mapping; provision of information on equipment, capacity needed, manpower, etc. on major expansion projects

Provides support to SAP

Develops, implements and maintains accurate IE information system.
