Title:  IE Specialist

• Must be a graduate of Industrial Engineering
• Preferably with strong background in line improvement, time and motion study, and production process and quality enhancements

Provides technical advice and assistance in the following functions of industrial engineering:

• monitoring, analysis, and review of manufacturing standards
• capacity planning and analysis
• equipment and labor utilization analysis
• headcount rationalization
• line balancing
• lay-out and workstations design, ergonomics improvement
• productivity improvement and cost reduction projects
• CAPEX review/evaluation

Prepares and generates IE reports and other reports as may be required from time to time. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gathers, reviews, and provides inputs to establish and update manufacturing standards of new and current products through the conduct of IE tools such as time and motion studies, work measurement, and other procedures. Ensures that work standards review is being done on planned frequency.
• Assesses, gathers pertinent data, and conducts analysis of improvement and cost reduction programs through the conduct of IE tools such as work measurement, work simplification and other procedures. This will form part of the Continuous Improvement Approach (CIA) that does aggressive resolution on pain points and standardization of established practices.
• Develops, improves, and proposes forms and worksheets that will enable efficient data collection, prevent redundant details, minimize number of forms used and to find ways of moving into paperless transactions. 
• Assists to prepare, checks completeness of documents, evaluates the project intent, endorses the projects to management for approval and implementation. Also helps in providing relevant data, analysis, and financial review needed for financial ratios (Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, Pay Back) that will help justify the investment being planned.
• Provides support to other programs / projects by way of providing information on Plant Capacity Utilization, Capacity Planning Requirements. Calculates for cost to produce particularly on new products being developed that will help evaluate profitability together with PDD and Finance Departments.
• Maintains master data requirements for SAP ECC and SAP IBP. Ensures that data maintained are regularly reviewed and updated in a timely manner.
