JOB SUMMARY

Ensures physico-chemical conformance to standard and specifications required to meet regulatory and customer specifications, plant quality systems and business objectives.

• Conducts appropriate, reliable, timely and cost effective analytical tools and procedures on raw materials and other related materials of all Magnolia product categories to determine conformance to standards and specifications;

• Implements quality assurance and improvement programs in the acceptance of raw materials;

• Monitors trends of quality-related performances on materials, processes, products and services and provides timely feedback and technical assistance to client departments to meet quality objectives, improve processes and address quality issues;

• Monitors the conformance of the physico- chemical selection of the Central Laboratory to the analytical standards and related quality systems such as ISO 9000, FSMS 22000, LMS, GMP and HACCP;

• Assists in managing the physico-chemical sections resources.

Candidate must be a Licensed Chemist and preferably with food manufacturing experience.
